We teach ourselves by reading the $300 required book. He says he likes questions from students, but that is a lie. He will mock & humiliate students when they have questions, and he often contradicts himself. Dr. Paul is a great professor, knowledgeable and caring. He is very engaged with the material and posts a short video lecture every week. He will make you work for your A but gives clear and constructive feedback so you can improve. Grade was primarily based off of weekly discussion posts, 4 short papers, a final research paper, midterm, and final exam. Class flew by in a breeze.The professor is overall very nice and caring, the homework is very easy and only takes around 10 min but there is homework every week. I had COVID during her class and missed an entire week but it didn't affect my grade. Exams are pretty easy to pass. HW is about 25% of the grade. I absolutely loved taking 1302 from Ms. Proctor. She's one of the best professors at HCC! I got a C on my first paper, and she worked with me, told me how to improve.
