But after 7 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), the Citizen appears to me to retain more luminosity. This is the longest I have kept any watch and it is the one I wear when working on vehicles or doing other things to which I would not subject my newer and high end watches.That said, my PO 8500 had excellent lume and, when charged under a halogen lamp for 5-6 seconds before bed, it would be quite legible for 6-8 hours. My 2201.50, with the C3 lume, was brighter and seemed to be brighter longer, but that did not alter the functional value of the lume on either watch..
